With a combined 17 years of experience across security operations, tactical defense, risk assessment, and executive protection, Travis and Matthew bring a disciplined and adaptable approach to every assignment. Their backgrounds support work in asset protection, corporate security, and personal protective services, with an emphasis on discretion and situational awareness.

Matthew Woods
Founder | CEO
Matthew Woods is a U.S. Army veteran who attended Cavalry Scout training through One Station Unit Training (OSUT). His military service was cut short due to an injury, resulting in an early discharge prior to completion of the training pipeline.
Following his service, Matthew continued developing his skills through advanced civilian firearms and defensive tactics training under experienced instructors, focusing on practical, real-world application.
As Founder and CEO of Concealed Defense, he leads the company with a focus on professionalism, training excellence, and real-world security solutions grounded in both military exposure and continued professional development.
Travis Bock
Co-Owner | COO | Director of Security & Lead Instructor
Travis Bock is an 8-year U.S. Army Infantry veteran with a combat deployment to Afghanistan and additional experience in counterintelligence operations. He served in multiple operational roles including team leadership and communications support in high-tempo environments.
His background includes tactical operations, protective support experience, and leadership in dynamic field conditions, providing a strong foundation for security operations and training development.
As Chief Operating Officer and Director of Security & Lead Instructor for Concealed Defense, Travis oversees operational execution, training standards, and field security services, ensuring professionalism, discipline, and consistency across all divisions.
